The BW Honeywell GasAlertMax XT II Portable Pump Gas Detector is a multi-gas monitor perfect for confined spaces like oilrigs, sewers, or other hazardous spaces. Honeywell has gone all out on this portable gas sniffer: an internal pump is constantly pulling in and sampling the air around you, so you can be sure you and your team are safe and protected from dangerous or explosive fumes.

 

The Max XT II sports four gas sensors for detecting Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Oxygen (O2) and the lower explosive levels (LEL) or a variety of dangerously combustible/flammable and explosive gasses.

 

Some of the Max XT II’s features include a bright, backlit LCD screen (which shows you battery levels and pump activity too), allowing you to clearly monitor your environment no matter how dark your confined space may be. It also has bright alarm LEDs, vibration options and a 95dB alarm to ensure you get the message. It has a concussion-proof housing, as well as an IP66/67 rating for water-resistance. The Max XT II is easy to use, featuring a simple one-button operation, designed to be operated by a gloved hand. The GasAlertMax XT II is also compatible with the MicroDock II.

 

Each Gas Alert Max XT II unit comes individually packed in a box that includes a 120V AC battery charger, an operators manual, a cd-rom owners manual, 5 spare moisture and particulate filters, a metallic scintered particulate filter (for end of sampling hose), 2 lengths (36 inches and 120 inches) of clear pvc tubing with connectors, a double-ended screw driver (No. 1 philips_5/64 hex allen) and a factory calibration certificate.
