DBI/SALA 8003205 Snatch Block Pulley Assembly

DBI/SALA Snatch Block Pulley Assembly 8003205

The DBI/SALA Snatch Block Pulley Assembly 8003205 hangs from the standard eye bolt on a tripod for routing the back-up or secondary mechanical device's (winch or self retracting lifeline) cable to the high anchor point and won into the hole. This device meets or exceeds OSHA and ANSI requirements. This pulley or snatch block very versatile. It is secured to the tripod through the eye-bolt with a self locking push pin. This snatch block, as opposed to other carabiner/snatch block combinations, is very easy to use and set up. The self locking pin design eliminates much of the fumbling you would see with other models of snatch blocks. The convenience and price can't be beat.

Protecta AK205AG Confined Space Retrieval Winch

The Protecta AK205AG Confined Space Retrieval Winch is designed to facilitate safe entry and exit from spaces which are not designed for continuous human occupancy. The winch is man-powered and meets or exceeds UL requirements for load capacity. It is available in a variety of lengths of cable and utilizes galvanized or stainless steel 3/16" diameter cable. This winch features a detachable handle, oil impregnated bearings, a safety lock, and is completed with a corrosion-resistant finish. Winching speed is typically 20 fpm at a 4:1 ratio. Protecta AK105A Confined Space Retrieval Tripod

Protecta AK105A Confined Space Retrieval Tripod

The Protecta AK105A Confined Space Retrieval Tripod has been a popular item with us for many years. Several of our customers like to use traditional tripods for their confined space rescue and retrieval needs.

The AK105A is easy to use, has adjustable height and is sold at a very attractive price point. The unit itself weighs just 39 lbs, and is only 65" in overall length once folded up with the legs retracted. Usually ordered in conjunction with the Protecta AK203AG Confined Space Winch and AK020A1 Snatch Block Pulley making a ready-to-work system for raising and lowering personnel and equipment. It may also be combined with the AD515AG Self Retracting Lifeline/Winch for applications where the tripod is the only means of support for the worker, and 2 lines are required.

Once the tripod legs are opened, they lock into position. The legs are adjustable in length and can be used at 8 different heights by means of locking pins. This can help account for uneven work surfaces. An adjustable chain connects the leg-ends to control spreading under load and is integral to the strength of the device.

The tripod head is cast aluminum, while the legs are are made of anodized aluminum rectangular tubing. Reflective safety tape is applied for visibility on the street. The feet have skid-resistant tread on the bottom. Note this tripod does not have a built-in or integral pulley, so please consider ordering theAK020A1 Pulley and Carabiner combination.

As a single anchorage point the tripod is rated at 5,000 lbs. Meets OSHA 1910 & ANSI Z359.1-1998 standards for confined-space entry devices.
