Weight and money savings in the Protecta AB17533 Fall Protection Harness with Shock Absorbing Lanyard. This single fall protection kit includes the full body harness, 6 foot shock absorbing lanyard and a heavy duty storage bag. The 5-point adjustable harness and lanyard weigh just 3.25 lbs. as a unit!


This Protecta brand AB17533 kit is from their FIRST line of economy fall protection products. With this combo they have removed the back d-ring on the harness and one of the snap hooks on the lanyard. Then the lanyard is looped through and sewn to the harness, making them one unit.

The big upside to all this is less weight, and less money (because 2 pieces of hardware are gone)!



Our customers have said for years that having a case or bag is a big deal to them; it keeps all the parts together, keeps them clean, and reduces the tangle that comes with a webbing harness. Some have used a small suitcase, others a gym or duffle bag. Protecta has provided a heavy weight nylon bag (looks like Cordura) that fits the whole assembly. The flap has a generous velcro closure, and the back has 2 nylon webbing loops with snaps. This can be carried on your belt or mounted on the forklift or bucket truck. While not waterproof, protection from the weather and sun will help keep your safety equipment investment protected.



The assembly meets all applicable standards, including OSHA and ANSI Z359.
